ARE WE THE SHOP FOR YOU?
If you are looking for a shop to perform a durable, quality repair that withstands the abuse a watercraft endures, LandCraft is your best choice.
If you are looking for a shop to return your damaged boat back to its pristine, pre-loss (factory) appearance, LandCraft is your best choice.
However, we are not a shop for you if you are looking for a cheap "spray paint" job... a cheaper cost where we "cut corners"... use a lesser quality grade of materials, or perform any other reduced quality service.
We are also not a "body shop" and our services (and rates) cannot be compared to a body shop. The industries are very different – we use different materials, methods and have different skillsets and overhead. Furthermore, painting or gelcoating a boat is not the equivalent to Maaco-type priced auto paint work... please don't insult us by expecting our caliber of quality (and materials) at Maaco-type rates. Just go to a shop like Maaco if that's your budget.
We operate a compliant, fully insured marine repair facility, staffed with experienced personnel and we charge marine industry standard rates (accepted by all insurance companies) for all of our marine services.
When we evaluate your service request and visually inspect your boat in person, you are provided an estimate to properly
repair your boat. We do not provide estimates to perform substandard work nor will we compete with repairers who do substandard work or run a substandard operation.
In order to protect our brand, we do not disclose trade secrets - but if we provide an estimate to repair your boat we are happy to explain why our services are superior.
As a conscientious shopper, you are tasked with the job to recognize what a proper repair is, what a proper repair looks like, what a proper quote is… and how to spot a quote for substandard service. You are tasked with comparing marine repair shop qualifications, licensing/insurance coverage and industry compliance. Go to our Quality Guidelines
website page for further help in deciding what’s best for you.
The jobs we estimate and the services we perform cover the costs incurred to provide quality services for the hours, days or weeks your boat is in our care and temperature-controlled, secure facility. Any local shop quoting less is either not qualified, not properly insured/operating, or not performing proper repairs or repairs at the caliber of LandCraft. This statement is backed by our 39 years of operation and industry experience.
Thank you for considering LandCraft as your boat repair professionals,
