The Owners of the
41' Chris Craft wanted top of the line navigation electronics installed for
their upcoming travels throughout the Great Lakes and other waterways.
We installed the latest Garmin model GPS/Chartplotter Combo Unit with Sonar,
and also surface mounted a VHF Radio, 2 VHF Antennas, 1 XM Radio Antenna,
Garmin Interface Module in Pilothouse center console, Garmin Radar, and then
installed a Thru-Hull Transducer. For the marine audio system, our
Clients wanted speakers installed throughout the boat - Flybridge,
Pilothouse, Salon and Masters Quarters. We installed top of the line
Memphis Marine for the audio system, and for custom 6x9" speaker
installation in Pilot House we made custom housing and matched original wood
grain finish. Clients wanted to have the ability to have sound in the
front of the boat, so for cost conservation reasons we provided 2 additional
portable speaker enclosures, marine grade, for guests to enjoy music on the
front deck. We replaced/installed 5 rotary volume knobs throughout the
boat to control sound levels in different locations of the boat.
Clarion Remotes were installed in Pilothouse and Flybridge to control the
Audio and Satellite Radio functions away from the stereo head unit.
The custom amp rack was built to Client specifications and was designed to
be a "hideaway" powerhouse with 2 Memphis Marine amps. For the
entertainment system, we installed a 32" Toshiba Regza LCD with custom
marine-grade bracket system and installed additional electric outlet to
power the LCD in the only available Salon location. The Entertainment
System Audio was enhanced with high-end Focal speakers/subwoofer and Audison
Amplifier for best sound output through the DVD player.
Clients also wanted the ability to watch television and DVD's in the
Pilothouse, so we installed a marine grade 20" LCD on an articulating arm
which was also custom mounted. Custom built Radar Arch and KVH
Satellite installation scheduled for 2008.
